WHO WE ARE
Our aim is not to simply run a speedway team, it is to create a community for Welsh speedway that allows it to grow and become the force it once was.

We endeavour to do this by having a simple set of aims that will forever run throughout the clubs ethos.
​
These aims will ALWAYS take precedence over and above any short-term thinking or fleeting, non-sustainable success.
These aims are as follows:
1) To provide an exciting speedway experience on a budget for all ages. Making it not only one of the best family nights out anywhere in South Wales, but the best value for money too.
2) To create a stadium that is a pleasurable and accessible enviroment for everyone who comes through the turnstile.
3) For Spytty Stadium to not just be seen as the home of the Exiles, but as the home of Welsh Speedway by aiming to run an academy side that Welsh kids can look up to and see a possible future in the sport.
4) To make Spytty Stadium one of the premier training centres for speedway in not just the UK but the world. So, that those kids inspired by our academy side can become the BEST riders that THEY can be.
If we achieve all those aims, we believe that Newport can help produce a venue, a club side and over the long-term, while we may never produce a Freddie Williams, a NATIONAL side that the people of Newport, Gwent and the WHOLE of Wales can be proud of.
