Good news as Exiles past and present make the British Under-21 final by showing good form in Dorset.
Exiles reserve Iain Meadows reached the British under-21 Final at his second attempt with a ten point showing at the Verwood hosted Semi-Final, earning himself sixth spot on the night.
The key for the 19-year old Lancastrian was consistency, avoiding last places and finishing with three second places out of four going into his final heat, where he took advantage of the inside gate to hit the front and pick up a victory that secured a final place.
There was even more good news on the night as Welsh youngster and former Exiles academy rider, Olly Steele, actually won the meeting on the night. The now Leeds Jaguar dropped just one point on the night and then won a run-off with fellow Jaguar, Dominic Bibi, an incredible achievement considering that now makes him one of the favourites to take the U-21 title despite being just 17.
